Drivers earn $0.17 per mile, per passenger and can make up to $5,000 per year just by making their usual daily trips.

How to get started:

Drivers are actively being recruited in the Southeast Redmond and Willows Road areas right now. If you’re interested in becoming a driver, visit icarpool.com to download the app and apply. You’ll need to show that you’re a safe driver with a year 2000 or newer vehicle.

If you’d like to ride with iCarpool all you need to do is download the iCarpool app and set up a user profile.

The Redmond Real-Time Rideshare iCarpool project is brought to you through a partnership between the City of Redmond and King County Metro’s Alternative Services program. Alternative Services is a new initiative to bring innovative transportation options to communities across King County. The goal of this project is to empower the next generation of carpoolers to save money, cut congestion, reduce emissions, and contribute to a better commuting experience.
