The new Sound Transit 541 express bus route will go from UW to the Overlake Transit Center and on to the Overlake Village Park and Ride every 20 minutes during peak hours.

The connection to the Overlake Village Park and Ride is great news for commuters as this Park & Ride's 203 parking spaces are not at capacity-making it one of the few underutilized Park and Rides in the area.  The Overlake Village Park & Ride is located at 2650 152nd Ave NE.

The new ST 541 route also makes an easy connection with the new University Link Light Rail Station that goes between UW and Capitol Hill.  Compared to taking the 545, the combo of the 542 and light rail saves 10 to 15 minutes to Capitol Hill.
